I made the girls new dresses, and then we presented them w/ new (to them) cowgirl boots!
Meggie was a bit more of a model today. Here she is sporting her new dress and boots.
Madeline's melodious laugh filled the barn as she took her turn on horse back.
I thought Megan would be a bit shy (scared to death!) about the horse, but she hopped right up and enjoyed herself immensely!
Later at the party the girls decorated horse shoes. Quite a beautiful treasure from their day!
Those dresses are lovely, Keri! You are a talented seamstress! :) And the girls are so cute with their cowgirl outfit! :) Just the kind of birthday celebration my lil girl would love - she turns 7 on Monday, BTW!! :) Happy Birthday to your girls!
ReplyDeleteFabulous! When my daughter turned 3 we had a friend bring her small horse to our backyard and had what we dubbed the pony party! Grandma made her a cowgirl dress out of red and white gingham too... she sewed bells in the tulle underskirt, perfect for a 3 year old!
ReplyDeleteI love the shot of the boot line up.
Blessings, Debbie
oh my gosh...those pics made my heart melt. so precious. happy birthday!!
ReplyDeleteI love that third picture...They are absolutely adorable! You did an amazing job on the dresses too!!!
ReplyDeleteKeri,
ReplyDeleteOh, your daughters are precious! Beautiful pics!
So sweet! Lovely dresses, cute little cow girl boots and a Birthday with horses! A very wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! Love the dresses, Keri. We were just a "Western" themed wedding for some members of our church last Saturday, and most of our church members (including us) got all dressed up with cowboy boots and hats as well. It was a fun day. It looks like your girls had quite a fun day themselves. :) Happy birthday Megan and Madeline!
ReplyDeleteThose dresses are GORGEOUS! I love red and white! Happy birthday to your gorgeous girls!
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures, dresses and fantastic boots! How fun.
ReplyDeleteOh WOW Keri what gorgeous "Twinkles" you have!! I love their B-day party and seeing them all dressed up as cowgirls. They do remind me of me and my sis but with red hair. We are also Twinkles :) But never called that! VERY CUTE!!
ReplyDeleteI am so eager to catch up on your yummy blog! I have been away far too long.

Those dresses are so nice and the girls look very sweet also. I have twin daughters, age 20, and they are seamstresses. They've sewn quite a few western dresses lately, but this one might beat the ones they found. I'll have to show them this one.
