Summer weather has been gracing us w/ it's presence the last few days...and as we were out and about running errands
We saw this beautiful scenery!
It is VERY common in our car for someone to just holler out..."AND WE LIVE HERE!", knowing that people travel far and wide to enjoy the beauty of the northwest..
we feel so blessed to live in this neck of the woods!
Hope you are enjoying the blessings of being where the Lord has placed you!
Oh wow! That is just such a gorgeous place to live!!! I'm glad you appreciate it so much - as you said, a lot of people travel to places like that for a holiday to see the views!! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm enjoying the blessings of being where the Lord has placed us - we just moved here last year and I constantly marvel at the beauty around us - it's not like yours, but it's another kind of beautiful! :) (wrote about it in a recent blog post at my newly revived blog, Counting it All Joy, if you want to read about our move?!) :)
Lovely! It just whispers..."America the Beautiful"
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about where we live too, I feel so privileged and so blessed by the Lord.
You really do live in a beautiful place! Almost as beautiful as Scotland! I'm only kidding of course! We have also been enjoying some sunny weather at last. Doesn't it feel good after such a long winter?
ReplyDeleteAnd the mountain to the left of Mt. St. Helens in the 2nd photo is Mt. Rainier!! We truly do live in the most beautiful of places. :)
ReplyDeleteoh my...we certainly enjoyed the mountains when we lived there!!! oklahoma just isn't the same, but enjoying where the Lord has us ;)
ReplyDeleteWow! Simply stunning!!
ReplyDeleteIt is absolutely beautiful! I don't wonder at your saying "And we live here". It also looks wonderfully cool. Is it cool? It is so hot here in Colorado, at the moment, I'd love to jump into that water. In spite of the heat, we are feeling very blessed to live in Colorado... got to see a little more of it this week end.. God is so amazing.
ReplyDeleteLove and Blessings,
Pam
What glorious views and how you must enjoy them every single day. I've often wished I lived in such a picturesque place ... if only I could get the rest of the relatives to move with me. :)
ReplyDeleteWe love living here, too :) this year I feel the children are all old enough (and strong enough) to do some hiking. We took them to Multnomah Falls Memorial Weekend on our way to Winthrop. Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYes, I am quite envious! ;) I do want to move out that way but these "stars" we keep following around seem to just want to stay on the East coast!
ReplyDeleteHello Keri, What a beautiful family you have. Thank you for visiting our blog. I see we frequent some of the same blogs. So fun! Come back and visit again :-)
