Today, we attended our first Memorial Day activity as a family. Grace was honored to sing the National Anthem for the event. She is not a singer...but counted it a privilege to participate.
We are grateful for the heroes of our country.

ReplyDeleteHooray Gracie-girl!
ReplyDelete"Wow" for Grace. What an honor to be asked. She didn't sound nervous. I would have been!
ReplyDeleteAwww, Grace you did great! And with no music! Very good!
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you
That's a tough song to sing. What a willing spirit Grace has. Great job!
ReplyDeleteOh, good for you, Grace. I must say I like to hear your anthem (and ours) sung so that the anthem is the focus of attention and not all the extra notes sung by the singer (I've noticed in the past few years some famous singers really 'go to town' with the tune, and *they* become the focus of the anthem, rather than the anthem itself.)
ReplyDelete(Hope I'm not stepping on toes here - just an observation :)
So, well done, Grace...
One of the sweetest renditions I have ever heard! Thank you Grace!
