Well, only because I had the privilege of visiting that fair city w/ 3 of my favorite red heads.....
.........and this one suggested the title! (Yes...his pants are short....growing boys...can't keep up!)
This is the first time we visited Fort Point...under the Golden Gate Bridge on the city side. It was a lot of fun...right down on the water under the bridge.
There was a fun hallway of doorways.....
We also went into the city, and did the Lombard Street thing and walked the piers and Ghiradelli Square - Have you tried the Sea Salt Caramel squares yet?...Delicious!
It is a great place to visit! ESPECIALLY because of the people we go to see! Not certain where the pictures are of our dear family....but THEY are the reason we head to the area!
Glad you had a fun time. My US geography isn't great but San Francisco is quite far away from where you live, right? Same coast though? Just getting my bearings!
ReplyDeleteKirsteen,
ReplyDeleteSan Francisco is about 660 miles away from where we live. We drive down in one (l o n g) day, spending about 10 hours on the road. My husband doesn't mind driving, and I knit or crochet while we listen to books on tape.
Beautiful pictures! I've never been to San Francisco but it looks like a splendid place to visit. I'd be all over those caramels, too!I had to chuckle at the "short" pants picture because that is an ever present problem in our house as well. Between growth spurts and holes in the knees, it's tough to find any decent pants in this house. HaHa!
ReplyDeleteawesome, glad you all had fun!! :)
ReplyDeleteWe were in San Francisco about 19 years ago! It was wonderful! Never had those caramels...but ate lots of sourdough!
ReplyDeleteWow...amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a fun day! But, a 10 hour trip down there is a long trip. I bet it felt good to stretch your legs.
ReplyDeleteSo, now you must tell me how does everyone feel about their redhair? I still get asked if I dye the Little Lady's hair. The shocker was when I was asked when she was one year old.
Hi there, I just came over via Carmen's blog and what a delight to see pictures of SF....I moved to SC 11 years ago from SF Bay area and all those landmarks wer ea nice reminder of home.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day!!
Sounds like a wonderful trip! And what neat photos too. Ohhh I would love to try the Salt Caramel Squares. Caramel is one of my favorite candies. [o=
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your outing with us.
Blessings and ((HUGS))
