Did you hear me?

Sometimes, in our faith, we hear what the Word says....but we don't always listen...I guess I'm using the word listen as incorporating the "putting it into action" part of hearing...application. Sometimes we rationalize away what we know the Lord wants us to do. I recently saw this video on one of the blogs I follow, and was compelled to share it here.  Beth Moore has a great story about listening....about allowing God to use you. It's about 8 minutes long, but you'll laugh and probably cry, but perhaps most importantly, you'll be inspired to LISTEN with the intent of being available to God..

May the Lord bless you as you hear and obey Him!

  1. I saw this once before and I wept then like I did just now. Yes, we need to so filled that we will hear what ever He wants to tell us. And isn't it wonderful that the Lord hears our thoughts so much that He will give us what we need. No matter how big or small. Thank you I needed to hear that today. ((HUGS))

  3. She is so good, isn't she!
I always come away with something in my heart from her talks.
    Simple obedience.
Why do we resist it so much?
Thank you Keri - this was a blessing :-)

  4. Dear Keri,

I have always enjoyed reading Beth Moore's books (we used to have a local Christian bookstore that we volunteered in...so I always got to read the new ones as soon as they came in!). This video is amazing...mostly because it is so true! He calls us to "love our neighbor"...in whatever way is needed. Sometimes I think we have difficulty getting past the "thinking that I'm too important for this" junk in our lives. We all need to comb hair...everyday!

    Have a blessed day!

    Much Love Pam
