How many of you scale the "Cliffs of Insanity"?,
wonder at the true meaning of the word "inconceivable"? ,
when you hear someone say
".....now I mean it!", respond w/ "anybody want a peanut?"
Or do you tease your children about ROUS's?
and tell people to "have fun stormin' the castle...."?
So, are you a Princess Bride kind of person?
If, somehow, you have never seen this movie....we HIGHLY recommend it!
Well I'm totally lost with this one! Never heard of the film, never mind watched it!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Princess Bride in ages!
ReplyDeleteWe're Princess Bride fans! Love it! And still watch it and laugh!
ReplyDeleteThis movie is a classic and yes, it is a great one! I don't think I have met someone who watched it and didn't like it. :) I have a missionary friend in Uganda who is part of a youth group that is recreating Princess Bride in a drama that they plan to film. :)
ReplyDeleteRuthie,
ReplyDeleteOne of my dearest friends in the whole world does not like that movie...she fell asleep during it the first time she watched it, and has never been interested in it since. (and you know her too!)
Keri, I grew up on this movie and yes I love it!! Our family quotes it too and it seems strange that anyone wouldn't love it, guess what, I am married to a man who doesn't like it or understand why I do LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny. I just mentioned the "Cliffs of Insanity" in one of my posts a few weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteGreat minds... :)
Wow I didn't know anyone else knew about this video. My young nephew has gotten his rhyming from this movie. He thinks the peanut part is pretty funny. We also use the line bout storming the castle quite a bit. Funny movie!
