Make it Monday

Well, though this is supposed to be a "TaDa" today...I did not quite finish the project. I still need to make the cording and pom poms that go at the top of the slippers.  It is a bit of a disappointment that I somehow managed to make these two slippers not matching....they did not felt the same and one is quite a bit...roomier than the other...I may try to remedy the situation, but as soon as I get the cording and pom poms finished this project will go on the back burner for a bit. (Ah...well, famous last words....I also would like to try to apply a "slip proofing" on the bottom of each of the slippers I have made....will let you know if that happens and how I like the product I chose.)

We (my girls and I) all really like this pattern - the error is definately mine, not the pattern (as the first pair I made came out just fine!)

  1. Since I don't do many creative things, I'm very impressed! They are beautiful and can't wait to see them with the pom poms!

  3. Good Morning Keri!

I just love these booties...they are so adorable...and look so warm! I have been wanting to try some "felting" for some time now...but have been looking for the right project. This just might be the one!

Hope you all are having a wonderful New Year. Hard to believe that it is 50 degrees and foggy here on the coast of Maine this morning...last week we were helping our elderly neighbors with their freezing water pipes due to sub zero temps. Go figure!

    Sweet blessings,
    Laura

  4. They look pretty good to me!

I didn't get my Make it Monday up yesterday as I managed to slip on the stairs and hurt my right shoulder (typing with just your left hand isn't fast!).

I'll be back in the making groove by next week though!
